This paper analyzes the dynamical characteristics of the boiler and turbine of power plant; it recommends that load responding speed is mainly affected by the characteristics of energy conversion of the boiler. To meet the rapidly changing of load demands, in this article several methods are put forward to raise the load responding speed of coordinated control system.This paper analyses the theory of DEB coordinated control system, including the P1/Pt valve signal, the P1/Pt*Psp energy balancing signal and the P1+Cb*dPb/dt heat energy signal. Theory of variable gain of DEB coordinated control system is also introduced in this paper.This article points out the problems of the coordinated control system and the mainly factors that affecting the responding speed of load in the 4th unit of Zhangjiakou Power Plant. To solve these problems, optimization and adjusting is used. After adjusting tests, responding speed of load can meet the requiring of power grid.
