With the development of the economic, the problem of the new energy has become a global hot issue. The battery has been applied more and more extensively, as the development of the electronics in many fields, thus the people need a new kind of battery, which is filling at the price, green and high-capacity. Because the Sodium is more plentiful and green than the Lithium, we turn to research the material of layered Sodium Manganese oxide, which is compounded by ion exchange technique. The paper selects NaMnO2 as the research object, and MnO2 as the material, with the cooling of the furnace, which will become Mn2O3 by slow calcinations to700℃under the protection of the argon for 12 hours in the tube furnace. We compound NaMnO2 with Mn2O3 and anhydrous Na2 CO3 in the way of hydrodynamics, and studied the difference of density of the Sodium and the Manganese, and the structural changes of NaMnO2. By XRD and Raman we find that, NaMnO2 of monoclinic structure is better, the mol ratio of which is 1.4:1, and which is roasted by 850℃for 15 hours; By ICP and XPS we determine that the chemical formula of the material is Na0.7MnO2.06, in which the average valence of Manganese is +3.45; By SQUID Test we discover that the material shows paramagnetic, which indicates it is paramagnet; finally, by electrochemical test we find that the initial capacity of 62 mAh·g-1 of the material becomes 17 mAh·g-1 after 50 cycles.
