Changbai Mountain Area Of Eco-tourism Spatial Development Patterns And Countermeasures

Since the reform and opening, China made remarkable achievements ineconomic construction. Three decades of reform and opening up, GDPincreases from147.3 billion dollars in 1978 to 33 trillion dollars in 2009 with an average annualgrowth of more than 9%. In the meanwhile China's ecological environment has alsosuffered a large degree of damage. However, since the concept of ScientificDevelopment was put forward in the 21st century, under the guidance of the premise,qualities of our economy and society development are promoted in a certain degree.At the same time, protection of the ecological environment has also beenunprecedented attention.In this context, "ecological tourism" has gradually become popular vocabulary intourism industry and attracted the public's attention. Currently, "ecological tourism" isbecoming the preferred mode of their development in most of nature reserves inChina. This thesis is based on the practice of ecological tourism development, selectthe Changbai Mountain Nature Reserve as a case. In the thesis, we make a judgmentof strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the future development based onfull understanding of the study area. Then, we refer the international experience tochoose a proper ecological tourism development mode of Changbai Mountain NatureReserve, and determine development strategies according to the mode.The thesis is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is an introduction part. The study background, purpose andsignificance of research ideas and the framework is described.The second chapter is an theoretical basis part. The concepts involved in this thesis,the theory and domestic academic research in the field of "ecological tourism" isinitiallyintroduced.The content of third chapter is the based Analysis of Changbai Mountain. Thechapter describes the major situation of Changbai Mountain Nature Reserve in termsof definition of spatial extent the Changbai Mountain area, physical geographyoverview of tourism profile, socio-economic development profile, problems etc. It isthe basis of the next part which is the focus of this thesis.The fourth chapter is the most important part of this thesis. The developmentmode and strategy of Changbai Mountain Nature Reserve are described. In this part,the ecological tourism development principle and strategy is promoted by SWOTanalysis method. And determine ecological tourism development mode throughComparison of various modelsThe fifth chapter is the deepening of the fourth chapter. In this part, the spatialpattern of ecological tourism development is introduced. According to the modementioned in the previous chapter, the spatial development of Changbai MountainNature Reserve is reasonably arranged.The final chapter is the supplement of the fourth and fifth chapter. Several specific measures are introduced to enhance the operational feasibility of the ecologicaltourism development mode mentioned above .
