Research On Urban Road Pavement Maintenance Management System

Urban road maintenance is the continuation of urban road construction, its operation management is to ensure the running state of urban roads. As the rapid development of economy and urban traffic of our country, the actual use of the road of life will often have larger gap with the design indexes, in the use process tend to produce unexpected injury, and the increasing pressure on the urban road traffic also puts forward a new challenge to the maintenance management. Therefore ,it must be by means of informatization to raise urban road maintenance level, to strengthen the monitoring of the decay damaged roads, Establishing effective ways of performance evaluation method of the road, make the design and management fusion, ensure the urban road traffic capacity. Based on GIS technology, the pavement maintenance management system can realize visualization, inquiry and modification of urban road maintenance of spatial information and attributes information, that can better for maintenance management decision-making service. This paper based on a thorough analysis of pavement maintenance management technology and the present situation of the research at home and abroad, combining ArcEngine technology and dynamic segmentation technique, proposed the urban road pavement maintenance management system based on the ArcEngine.The research of pavement maintenance management system at home and abroad is introduced, also the application of geographic information technology in pavement management system; Introduced the research case of the pavement maintenance decision theory and its use in pavement management system; According to the existing problems of road maintenance,Points out the necessity and feasibility of the pavement maintenance management system; Combining dynamic segmentation technique, realizing the dynamic segmentation of the road, which is beneficial to the statistics, analysis and management of maintenance data, improves the system's efficiency; According to the demand of system analysis, discusses the needed data types of pavement maintenance management system and realizing the design of system database; According to the pavement performance evaluation content,to provide a theoretical basis of pavement maintenance and management decision making. According to the condition of Fuzhou road condition, through the analysis of Fuzhou road network structure, combined with the ArcEngine technology, designed the pavement maintenance management system.
