| Blade is the key part that effected the efficiency of wind turbine. Research of its airfoil will promote the capability of design and manufacturing of wind turbine in China. In this paper, FFA-W3-301, FFA-W3-211 and NACA632-215 airfoils are chosen as the objects for research. Aerodynamic performance is simulated using different turbulence models ,and the results are compared with experiment data. A reasonable CFD analysis model is gotten, and aerodynamics simulation of the chosen airfoils are done precisely compared with experiment data. Based on this, a method for aerodynamic optimization of airfoil using mesh morphing technique is proposed.It is applied to achieve single and multi objective optimization and aerodynamic optimization of airfoil flap. The optimized smooth airfoil profiles are gotten, and their aerodynamics performance are highly promoted. It is proved that this optimization method can be used to optimize the overall and partial airfoil profiles. This research provides a effective method to develop the airfoil of wind turbine blade. |
