The ventilation and disasters prevention of Extra-long Highway Submarine Tunnel is going to be a huge problem for the construction. This paper takes as research subject, analyses the effect of different dimension on the fire smoke flow, in the "Longitudinal Ventilation+Central exhaust" modes.The paper introduces the submarine tunnel fire about its characteristic,study method and existing condition. Combined with the theory of ventilation and disasters prevention, based on model of experiment and numerical simulation, analyses the advantages and disadvantages of different smoke vents influence on exhaust effect. Used the CFD software PHOENICS, the exhaust effect of smoke vents and distribution of smoke flow are analyzed; Based on experiment, analyses the diffusion distance and exhaust time of smoke vents in the different driveway. Optimize the smoke vent dimension of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Submarine Tunnel based on the two methods above.
