With the development of economy and increasing volume of traffic on the road surface, The request to highway road surface is also more and more high. After several decades of research The technology of rubber asphalt has gradually matured. Depend on it's good characteristics of road surface, good environmental protection characteristics, rubber asphalt has been used widely. The increased use of rubber asphalt brings great pressure on its production. It is urgent to design a rubber asphalt production equipment which has high degree of automation, big production volume, high efficiency, easiness of use.On the basement of analysis of rubber asphalt modified mechanisms and production processes, we design a rapidly warming device of rubber asphalt production equipment, including assembly drawing, pipe plate, heat exchange pipe, dividers, baffles and so on. Other, this system combined with PLC control technology, frequency control technology, to achieve the objectives of design proportion by PLC controlling screw conveyor motor. Firstly, the paper chooses rational system control scheme based on system needs, that is PID closed loop control scheme. Then control circuit was designed on the scheme. At the same time, hardware like PLC, converters, sensors and so on was distributed and connected, then introduces the advantages of using PLC controller. And then the quick-debugging parameters of MM430 converter were set up in system.Based on the research of PID control algorithm, the PLC control program of system was designed with STEP7-Micro/WIN4.0.At last, a brief introduction of connection of PLC controller and upper computer was provided.It was proved that the rapid heating device has high heating efficiency, it can satisfy the needs of high-temperature asphalt by rubber asphalt production equipment. In addition, through simulating control program,the control system can automatically regulate the speed of screw conveyor motor according to the deviation of controlling parameter in order to achieve that the deviation of actual proportion and standard deviation proportion within the needed scope. Meanwhile, the control system had good function of fault warning.
