Arch bridge of reinforced concrete rigid-frame, which was put into use since 1979, has many advantages than other similar span archs and has been widely built throughout the country. However,with the rapid development of economy and the increasing highway traffic,the load of highway bridge are heavier and heavier. Due to the transport of trailer and container car, there is general phenomenon that bridges are lack of bearing capacity. In addition, the continuing ageing and damage of bridge make this conflict more prominent.Combining with the analyze of the previous reason of producing diseases in arch bridge of rigid-frame, this project,which is at the background of reconstructing the old bridge located in DaoSI river in Jining Municipality, analysis the parameter impact of important loadbearing member, the type of arch axis, the rise-span ratio,the support of archspringing, the distance between arch ribs and so on. The goal of this project is to optimum deisgn parameter, improve construction in the sense of deisgn and optimize construction methods combining with the actual situation. Taking the type of arch bridge of reinforced concrete rigid-frame in the background and the real nature of site soil into consideration, the multiple arch model with mutual impact of "pile-soil"theory which consider combined action of substructure and superstructure are closer to the actual bridge state. We have demonstrated the general design of the bacground project-yanzhou sihe river in the 327 national highway and bridge technique. At the same time,we also checked the content of construction drawings and finished analyzing both the substructure and superstructure of improved arch bridge of reinforced concrete rigid-frame.We can draw some conclusions as follows:(1)In document-《The rebuilt construction bridge in yanzhou sihe river of the 327 national highway》the content of arch bridge of reinforced concrete rigid-frame is complete.The design of the substructure and superstructure are reasonable and suit for the demand of construction.(2)The outcome of analysis and checking shows that the principal sections meet the demand of《specification》and the whole structure has abundant safetystock,but specific section need strengthen the splitting resistance.This research is closely related with real project and will apply the research results into similar bridges design in Jining Municipality or even Shandong Province.Meanwhile,the research will promotes the development of traditional arch bridge of reinforced concrete rigid-frame.
