It has three components, the drivers, vehicles and roads environment, of which the driver is the dominant factor. The driver's driving behavior plays an important role in control and coordination the various elements of the traffic system. He not only played a role in the processing and decision-making but also undertake the task of adjusting and controlling. Therefore, by studying the driver's driving behavior, analyzing their selective attention of objectives and the methods of distribution, we will found an important significance to analyzing, testing, researching the road traffic system, and modeling, simulating, constructing safer driving behavior models, finally we can build a successful intelligent simulation driving staff model.In this paper, the premise is the construction and research of virtual driving test platform in our laboratory. By analyzing the theory of selective attention and the distribution, the driver's information process, driving behavior, and attention states of all the channels, combined with the advantages of the virtual drive, we can research the mechanism of selection and distribution of attention in the process of driving. The paper study how speed and tasks impacted driver's attention distribution by experimental test, divided the testees into two categories, skilled drivers and novice drivers, then record and analysis their behaviors, interview the testees after the test, finally research how mission objectives and the number of stimulation and testee's driving ability make effects of selective attention. Then the study analyzed and summarized the results of tests, found out the objective decision-making and driving skills will affect the person's selective attention, and got a model of selective attention and distribution based on target. Final the paper analyzed the functional requirements of the virtual driving experiment platform, designed the interface layout, and related experiments, add the selective attention experiment into the platform.
