| As the subsystem of car, the performance of braking system is directly related to the vehicle safety. The braking performance is mainly affected by the tires,road conditions and the distribution of braking force on the wheel. Based on the diamond car,we analysed the braking performance and study how to design the braking system for the diamond car.According to the diamond car's unique chassis and consider the brake condition, we established the braking mathematical model. This model considers the longitudinal motion and lateral movement in emergency braking condition.aim at the direction stability problem, considering the external disturbance, external torque, wind resistance and centrifugal force, all of this established the foundation theory for the diamond car. The application of virtual technology established the dynamics model for the diamond car.Including the front suspension model, the middle suspension model, the rear suspension model, the tire model, the steering system model and the vehicle body model. And we also established the vehicle braking system through the MATLAB/simulink. Finally, constructed the diamond car's combine simulation model and simulated through the ADAMS and Simulink. By the combine simulation,we can know the direction stablility of the diamond car when each of the wheel axle is locked or two wheel axles are locked.We also can know lock interval between the axles and the vehicle speed's influence to the direction stablility. Provide the theory guidance for brake system design of the diamond car.According to the braking mathematical model and the simulation results, we get the design way of the diamond car's brake system. Including how to calculate the center of mass by loading distibution, how to calculate the ideal braking force curve (double I curve), how to calculate the actual braking force distribution curve (doubleβcurve), and how to calculate the brake ratio, finally analysed the brake force distribution reasonableness.The work systematically studyed the braking performance of the diamond car and how to design the brake system for the diamond car, it's significance to improve the braking safety. |
