For solving the unstable problem of induction motor (IM) caused by variation of some important parameters and external load disturbance, sliding-mode concept is introduced in induction motor indirect field oriented control (IFOC). Firstly , the state model of induction motor is changed from 3-phase stationary reference frame synchronous rotating reference frame and design a sliding-mode controller for induction motor by IFOC theory and sliding-mode control theory, then establish a simulink model. The results of simulation show that induction motor (IM) controlled by sliding-mode controller has better robustness and dynamic stability. Secondly, a adaptive sliding-mode observer is designed for induction motor to observe speed and flux of rotator. Finally, a sensor-less induction motor (IM) indirect field oriented sliding-mode control system is proposed by combining adaptive sliding-mode observer with induction motor (IM) indirect field oriented sliding-mode control system, then establish a simulation model. System simulation experiments show that the sliding mode control system with adaptive sliding mode observer has properties of better robustness, no overshoot and quick dynamic response when variation of parameter and external load disturbance happen. It can be applied to high performance A.C. motor drive system in the near future. |
