The urban transport system is of great importance in our urban traffic system. As the running node of public transportation, the public transit site undertakes the task of meeting the requirements of setting down and picking up passengers and stopping public traffic vehicles, if the public transit site design is not enough reasonable, it is not only not meeting the requirements of setting down and picking up passengers, the reaction of stopping public traffic vehicles disorderly occurs, but also it has an adverse effect upon other transportation systems when the public traffic vehicles enter or leave bus stops. So planning and designing the public transit site reasonably is tremendously significant of giving full play to the role of transit sites, it can increase the capacity of bus stop sites, reduce the site disorder in public transportation vehicles and reduce the transit site on the impact of road traffic flow. This article analyzes the interaction between bus traffic and road traffic when buses stop, and it is significant to select appropriate evaluation index system to evaluate the operation of bus stops on the impact of road traffic flow.First, the paper classifies and summarizes the forms and types of the bus stops on the road, and analyzes the docking capacity of different forms of public transport sites. After observation, the bus traffic and the social traffic interacts each other when the public traffic vehicles enter or leave bus stops. Analyses the social traffic on the transport of transit traffic during runtime, bases on the gap acceptance theory model, analyses and obtaines the formula of bus traffic flow.Second, the paper researches the bus traffic on the impact of road traffic flow when the public traffic vehicles leave bus stops, directs the situation of Harbor-shaped Bus Stop, analogies with the"team"model, and accordes to Webster delay equation modified, obtaines the formula of delays in road traffic flow; directs the situation of non-harbor-shaped Bus Stop, analogies with traffic wave theory, obtaines the formula of delays in traffic flow.Again, the paper analogies with the congestion index system of Urban road and analysis and evaluates the impact of road traffic flow when the public traffic vehicles leave bus stops.Last,the paper verifies the results using VISSIM, verifies the science and rationality of the paper research results. The paper research results provides effective and practical basis in order to establish the form of road transportation site.
