In this paper, we inducted the main motor object of study of direct torque controltechnology, on its unique and novel control ideas, as well as its simple and clear systemarchitecture, good dynamic and static performance advantages in the industrial sector and theacademia have been widely concern. Direct Torque Control is a new high-speed communicationtechnology, therefore, permanent magnet synchronous motor direct torque control system hasbecome a hot research today. Papers on DSP-based permanent magnet synchronous motor directtorque control technology research for the purpose of definitely theoretical guidance andpractical significance.Through access to information a large number of domestic and foreign literatures, anoverview of the permanent magnet synchronous motor, permanent magnet synchronous motorcontrol strategy, permanent magnet synchronous motor direct torque control of the currentsituation of international research in detail. Discussed the structure of permanent magnetsynchronous motor, the three coordinates of the mathematical model and its transformationmethod to realize multi-variable AC motors and their interaction decoupling, will simplify and anequivalent AC motor into a DC motor to analyze. With MATLAB / SIMULINK softwareenvironment carried out under the permanent magnet synchronous motor direct torque controlsystem of systems simulation.
