As the national economy highly developing, the proportion of great transportation, large-sized vehicle, heavy and over-load trucks increasing, the demand of road enhances for channelization. High temperature rut, low temperature splitting and other harms seriously affect the useful quality of pitch concrete road. SMA road is extensive applied as its high temperature stability, low temperature non-splitting, durability and great non-sliding. And the cellulose fiber for roads, as the necessary part of SMA mixed material, gains more attention in the country and overseas.This paper choosing the stable and rich diatomite as the raw of mineral powder, on the basis of cellulose fiber for roads'small-size test preparation craft, using the centre experiment room of NEU MINERALS, raises the loose Cellulose fiber for roads Semi-industrial test craft itinerary and makes the best craft condition of preparation. According to the international enterprises standards, we test the preparation products and the result is that each function of the loose fiber which we product achieves the level of the same kind of international products.This paper using the loose fiber which we product as the research item, choosing SMA-13 gradation, with the in-door Marshall test, rut test and immersion Marshall test, studies the high temperature stability and water stability of SMA mixture with the loose fiber which we product. The result says the loose fiber which we product can obviously enhance the high temperature stability of SMA mixture. In which the Marshall modulus enhances 77%, dynamic stability enhances less than 4 times, and SMA mixture also has good water stability. Comparing with the Germany JRS fiber for road function, we make sure the two fibers for road function have the balance affection. And the quantity of mixing fiber directly affects the function results of SMA pitch mixture, among them the fiber takes up 0.7%, so it can extremely enhance the high temperature stability and water stability of SMA mixed material.At the end of this paper, combining with the entire experiment, initially study the preparation craft and application mechanism of loose cellulose fiber for roads. It contains the modification mechanism of nonmetal ultra fine powder, the composite mechanism of the cellulose fiber and the action mechanism of cellulose fiber for roads working in the SMA mixture.This paper is for basing the industrial production of loose cellulose fiber for roads.
