With the characteristics of small size, light weight, low cost, stealth and simply operability, mini-helicopter become an important study area in micro and small weapons systems.It has a very important practical application prospects value in sense of military and civilian.Therefore, to develop a safe, stable and reliable new driving systems and is very important for mini-helicopter.The paper selects brushless DC motor of no position sensors as controlled objects for power system and designs the core speed control system of no position sensors BLDCM using ATmega8 chip.Firstly,the paper analyses the necessity of designing new power system,and the control methods of the mini-helicopter are anylysed.Then,the paper studies the basic structure and the working principle of the BLDCM with no position sensor,the key techniques of the BLDCM with no position sensor in driving system are analyzed in detailed.Secondly,the paper achieves the design of the driving system in hardware and software.In the design of hardware syetem the peper uses ATmega8 chip as the system controller core.Periphery circuits of microprocessor are designed.Based on the design of the hardware system, the paper achieves the design of the sofrware system.Finally,the paper validates the feasibility of the driving control system with design of hardware and software in fixed state of the mini-helicopter.
