Research on the linear array and its accessories is very important for the towed array sonar. In this paper, take the linear array and the linear array stabilizer as the objects for study. Simulate the resistance of the stabilizer at deep and free surface water, and also the flow condition of the linear array. Use the software of ANSYS to compute the displacement response of Vortex-induced vibration according the force result of the FLUENT. The results provide the important date for the array design and research.The main contents of this dissertation are given as follows:The first, the model of the stabilizer is built. Use the model to compute the resistance of the stabilizer. Through the comparison the results with the experiment results to research the resistance of the stabilizer and the wave effect. In the deep water, the free surface can be ignored. The resistance includes the friction and viscous pressure resistance. In the free surface, the wave-making resistance can't be ignored. The resistance includes the friction and viscous pressure and wave-making resistance. So, according the work condition and the structure of the stabilizer, the model in deep water and free surface are built and use this model to research the resistance of the stabilizer. The second use the experiment results to validate the stabilizer model. Calculate the resistance of different stabilizers and analysis the results in the deep water and in different free surface. The third use the software of GAMBIT to build the model of the linear array and use the model to compute the dynamic pressure, velocity, the life and the resistance force in FLUENT. In order to analysis the obliquity and velocity affect the result, compare the result with experiment. The fourth, build the FEM model in the software of ANSYS of linear array, according to the lift force and resistance result of FLUENT to compute the response of Vortex-induced vibration. Analyze the influence of different obliquity and velocity for displacement response of Vortex-induced vibration.Through the numerical modeling calculating research on all the aspects, a series of conclusions on the resistance of stabilizer and the response of Vortex-induced vibration of linear array are obtained and they will be valuable in the practical project. These conclusions can be available for reference to the design of in linear array.
