Measurement of the soft X-ray energy spectrum is an important part in ICF experiments.With spectrum analysis,soft X-ray diagnosis can get total flux of X-ray, radiation temperature,conversion efficiency and albedo,which are important parameters of indirect drive hohlraum thermodynamics. As a hohlraum character,the soft X-ray diagnostic system can measure X-ray radiated by hohlraum and give radiation temperature vs.time curve. However, there are some disadvantages in the various spectrometers being used at present, such as the low energy spectrum resolving power, difficult unfolding method and so on.In order to avoid those shortcomings and make a measurement more efficient and more precise,a transmission grating measurement system has been studied and developed.On the base of ICF experiments'particular requirements for soft X-ray diagnosis and the features of multilayer,this paper studies and analyzes the operating principle, executable programs and several key technical units about vested spectrometers.Then high temperature plasma X-ray diagnostic techniques are introduced.And the paper illuminated the system structure and principle of work on MLSXS,completed the physical design about spectrometer's eight channels.At the same time,the mechanical structure of transmission grating measurement system is designed.The 3-D spectrometer mode is built and analyzed by modern finite element techniques(FET).The main content as follows:â‘ On the base of analyzing the features and requirements of X-ray diagnosis, the design plan of transmission grating measurement system are showed.â‘¡Detailed mechanical design and optical paths design of transmission grating measurement system are accomplished according to scheme. It also combined with simpliest structure rule, minimum distortion rule, shortest mechanical transmission rule.â‘¢3-D model of transmission grating measurement system is built by Pro/E, and the mechanical analysis is done by FEM software ABAQUS. The static and dynamical analysis is done according to the key structure FEM modal. The static distortion and former ten order modes are gained. As a result, the optimization for the system is proposed.â‘£Installation and debugging on transmission grating measurement system are accomplished, and the relative measures are done, the precise position is realized, and the experiment result nearly match theory. The result shows that transmission grating measurement system satisfied the requirement of design.The performances of transmission grating measurement system satisfy the requirements well.And the study provides some valuable references for further research.
