As the most effective fire control system, automatic sprinkler system has been applied to various constructions, which is carrying the important mission of protection of human lives and property. Although the automatic sprinkler system has a nearly 200-year history, but it is still a mostly theory with less experience in test technology, technical and economic aspects and there are many places worth research. Hereinto, as the mostly immediate assembly in control the fire, automatic sprinkler system play the most important role and the selection and arrangement of automatic sprinkler system directly affect fire-fighting efficiency, reliability, hydraulic calculation of the entire system.At present, the study of nozzle arrangement is still limited; most of them are only at the superficial level, which did not provide a comprehensive analysis of fire sprinkler system for the layout and efficiency, reliability, hydraulic calculation effects of the system. As a system, the core part of the selection and arrangement of nozzles play the most important role in the sprinkler system. Therefore, it is necessary from the perspective of how to optimize the layout of nozzles on the sprinkler system. And find out the relationship between the layouts of nozzles with the hydraulic calculations, reliability of the system.This paper focus on how to optimize the nozzle arrangement, to explore the nozzle technology, sprinkler system hydraulic calculations, system design flow calculation method, the impact of nozzle arrangement on system reliability, simplified hydraulic calculation and so on. The paper discuses the interaction between them and the relationship between a more comprehensive analysis and discussion, finally made a application-oriented form about the reasonable distance the nozzle should be take in different height, working under different pressure. At the same time, the calculation of the hydraulic spray system was also discussed on how to conduct quick hydraulic calculation, and gives the corresponding application form. Also the form is used in how to optimize the nozzle arrangement.The meaning of this paper is given a simple approach which allows a more reasonable and flexible arrangement of nozzle design. The results ensure the water spray intensity in the area while reducing the number of nozzles and simplify piping length, optimizing the system to achieve the purpose of energy conservation and promoting the development of spray system.
