Especially, how to use appropriate treatment measures to meet high-filled culvert foundation treatment. the culvert design theory before the development is not greater, especially in the design manual and specifications for the culvert earth pressure problems, so the calculation results are quite different with the actual results, these design defects lead the continuous diseases, and make a serious impact on highway capacity and service life.This paper, with the Zheng Luo highway reconstruction project, analyzes the interaction of old and new culvert in the old road widening. Using the method of increased clearance, its carrying capacity, overturning and sliding checking meet the design requirements. Numerical calculation result showed that: prestressed concrete pipe culvert could control the old and the new settlement of differences. But using prestressed concrete pipe, the new culvert has created additional stress in the top whose which value is more than 2 times; Considering theoretical analysis, a variety of treatment measures were proposed to widening culvert foundation and fillResearch break throughs the existing theories about the limitations of the method or engineering measures.
