| As one of the most important parts of the vehicle, suspension system plays a vital role in determining the dynamic behaviors of the vehicle. Compared with passive suspension, the active suspension system which could make the optimal feedback control according to road conditions and driving conditions can improve vehicle ride comfort and handling stability. Therefore, research and development of active suspension has become an important research topic in the vehicle dynamics and control field.Control strategy is one of the cores of the active suspension research, the effectiveness of which is directly related to the merits of active suspension system performance. In this paper, a deep research on control strategy of active suspension was made, which included control strategies and development of suspension test-bed.Firstly, the research on PID control, fuzzy-PID control of the active suspension was made and computer simulations were done in this paper, in which the 1/4 vehicle 2 degrees of freedom suspension system model was taken as a control object. The simulation results showed that the active suspension with fuzzy-PID control could significantly suppress the vibration of the body and improve vehicle ride comfort.Secondly,4 degrees of freedom model for the active suspension and steering system was established, and then the integrated control research on the active suspension and steering system with LQG control theory was also made and then computer simulations were done. The simulation results showed that the active suspension and steering system with the integrated LQG control system, the changes of vehicle yaw angular velocity, body vertical acceleration and body pitch angle decreased significantly and the vehicle ride comfort and handling stability were effectively improved.Finally, the suspension test-bed was designed to meet the tests need of the active suspension control strategy. In this paper hydraulic system of actuating vibration table was designed, and the hydraulic system model was established at the same time, and the research on PID control of the table designed was taken. After computer simulating, the results were got which showed that the actuating vibration table with PID control units could provide a good simulation of various rough roads. |
