At present, with the proliferation of various kinds of complex structures,RC frame interior abnormal joints (here in after called abnormal beam-column subassemblages) has a wide rage of application abnormal beam-column subassemblages, with many drawbacks, lower bearing capacity and bad deformation capacity.Based on beam load pseudo-static test of eight 1/3-scale abrupt beam abnormal beam-co-lumn subassemblages, the paper accomplish the numerical method deduce about this subassemblage's deformation capacity by analyzing. The main results are as following:①The paper analyses such aspects as axial compressive force, the volumetric percentage of the stirrups in the joint core, the changes of beam sections for two sides, the size of the core area ratio, different loading methods, etc. Also, their affections on abnormal beam-column subassemblage's seismic behavior.②The rational systerm sets up formula for first cracking, full cracking and ultimate in the subassemblage to bear the forces form big core shear failure.③The paper conerns comparesion between different kinds of the joint core effective anti-shear high value and the practical situasituations. Finally, determines the hbo values with the highest satisfactory, and also, determines the hbo value more precisely and its critical point region in the core of the joint.④Based on the research results of the pioneers the author made a lot of analyses and put forward numerical methods about deformation capacity of all sorts of elements in abnormal beam-column subassemblages. Moreover, the author made a connection between the deformation capacity of subassemblage and the whole RC frame subassemblage.⑤The paper also analysized the affections of all factors to different constituents in abnormal beam-column subassemblages, such as deformation capacity, stiffness and seismic behavior. At the same time, during there stages, in subassemblage due to a variety of factors deformation, capitals level displacement occurs. The paper discussed the ratio and laws of this kind of displacement in the whole capital level displacement. Meanwhile, it point out the main deformational componets of frame structure under the seismic influence in the process of lower class interstory check.⑥After a series of tests, the paper get the deformability of abnormal beam-column subassemblages in three stages:theorical first cracking, theorical full cracking and theorical ultimate. In conclusion, according to the experimental and theorical analysis on deformation capacity and seismic behavior of RC frame structure abnormal beam-column subassemblages joints, in the hope of supplying experimental reference and theorical reference for the formulation and modification of rules or standards in other related fields.
