As our country's national economy develops rapidly, traffic have become increasingly demanded, and bridge is the important and complex components in urban and highway traffic. Beam bridge is the most widely used type in the three basic structural system of bridge, and prestressed concrete structure plays a very important role in the application of beam bridge. Prestressed concrete continuous box girder bridges develop fleetly in recent decades for the structures'big stiffness, good driving comfort, little expansion joints and easy maintenance etc. In this process, our country's prestressed concrete continuous box girder bridges appear a lot of diseases because of the limitation in design, construction and maintenance management. In these diseases, inclined cracks in the web of box girder are the main, which are likely to affect the normal operation of the bridge, especially reduce the destruction of carrying capacity. Therefore, the analysis of inclined crack's production mechanism and influence factors must be taken enough recognition.According to the inclined crack of web in prestressed concrete continuous box girder bridge, This paper will study from the following aspects: (1) Systemic analysis on the structure elements of inclined crack of web in prestressed concrete continuous box girder bridge, mostly on the sensitivity factors; (2) Starting from the sensitivity factors, introduce section stress analysis of prestressed concrete continuous box girder bridge by the numbers. (3) Summary analysis of various reinforcement methods of the cracks in prestressed concrete continuous box girder bridge. (4) According to a disease-inspect report about a prestressed concrete continuous box girder bridge which is in Guangdong, using software Midas/Civil for the bridges's modeling, simulating the practical loads and the most unfavorable load combination, analyzing the inclined crack's causes, all these can provide a scientific theory for the reinforcement of the bridge. Reinforced test results show the effectiveness of the reinforcement method.Starting from the research of inclined crack of web in prestressed concrete continuous box girder bridge, this paper discuss fully the causes, effects, software calculation and analysis, and reinforcement measures, and show the results of this research with a engineering example. The results of this research have some reference value on the bridge with the same web inclined crack problem.
