The security problem of the vehicles always can attract the public attention. When the crashworthiness happens,if the energy can not be absorbed,it will certainly cause heavy losses. Therefore it is theory significant and valued to research theimpactive simulation and optimization.The Stainless steel welding subway and the MT-2 buffer are choosed as the research objects, the mainly researched on some aspects,as follows:First,on the basis of crash element model and simulation,the research is done.The developed stainless steel welding subway for crashworthiness is analysised here. According to the results,the new design is proposed.Through the simulation of the corrected vehicle,the results ndicate:the big distortion only occurs in the non-passenger area,simultaneously,the process is stable,and the jitter phenomenon isn't appeared.Next, the simulatation of MT-2 buffer is conducted,and then the results compare with the practice. An optimization design method is proposed which organically integrate collision software PAM-CRASH and multi-disciplinary optimized software iSIGHT. This method is making a model batch file in PAM-CRASH and loading into the iSIGHT, after defining the optimized goal,the variable and the constraint condition, then it takes some optimization program to design. The results after optimization is reasonable ,by using this method in MT-2 buffer to carry on the optimized design, comparing with the practice.Finally,the application have been carried on after optimization design's buffer, the researches of subway and MT-2 buffer model have been simulated. After the clashing of two trailers adding buffer, the front the structure get the slight distortion and expire.Compared with subway without adding buffer, the distortion degree of the front structure has reduced and improved obviously in the collision performance.Conclusions can be drawn through the results,that the change of Mu1,Mu2 in buffer material impact the results obtained by contact force curve.Mu1 is the most directly impact,Mu2 is little, test curve is got after adjusting the Mu1,Mu2 values.Thereby, the structure and material of buffer is equal to the test requirements, improved buffer model can be used to simulate the actual MT-2 buffer. Meanwhile,this paper provide a theoretical basis for the simulation study of the buffer device.
