This paper led a thorough, in-depth research on the reliability analysis and management of the bulldozers so as to ascertain their life rules, and find out the difference between the domestic bulldozers and the ones which was made by the developed countries, and seek the effective way to improve the reliability level for the homemade bulldozers.This paper has completed the following job:1) On the basis of warranty failure data in the traditional statistical strategy, established a comprehensive collection and review mechanism for the warranty failure data which was collected through the web. This method ensure that collected data can reflect the real fault scenarios, including all relevant information related to the fault occurrence, such as the representation, working conditions, possible reasons of the failure parts;2) Used different model to analysis the reliability characteristics of the systems or components according to its repairable nature. The key algorithms of this thesis are constructed mainly for the does-not-repair model, and the repairable systems which meet certain conditions can be approximated using the does-not-repair system model to estimate the corresponding reliability index;3) Raised a set of wide data range model which was not only suitable for the complete data but also suitable for several kinds of censored data. It could solve the difficulties of parameter estimation for the warranty failure data which would be under a variety of censored data;4) Introduced the adaptive iterative Gauss-Kronrod numerical integration to solve the posterior distribution calculation of Bayes parameter estimation with any prior distribution, and applied to the small sample of warranty failure data;5) Proposed a new type of distribution, with a"bathtub"shape failure rate, which could describe the fault characteristics of the complex mechanical electronic system in the whole life cycle. It is an effective distribution when applied to describe the fault characteristics of the bulldozers in the whole life cycle; 6) Developed a reliability information management system on the basis of ASP language and SQL SERVER database management system, realized the functions of collection, auditing, management, query for the warranty failure data. The system can analyze the reliability index of the bulldozers according to the collected failure data, and provide effective information support for establishing the enterprise goal, adjusting the accessories procurement strategy, improving the management, developing the technology improvement program, planning after-sales service and spare parts supply strategy.
