The prestressed composite structure is a new structural style developed on basis of composite strucutre, Which has fully adopt the advantage of compressive resistance and tensile resistance on concrete, steel and high-strength prestressed steel, thus it has avoided their shortcoming in some degree. It has the uncomparable superiority of the prestressed reinforced concrete structure.The prestressed external steel concrete structure is one kind of the prestressed composite structure. On the basis of the wildly collected domestic and foreign literature, this paper studied its mechanical behaviors using the theoretic analysis and numerical calculation.The article mainly studied the technic and the method of prestressed external steel concrete structure and the flexural bearing capacity and the eccentric compression capacity of the rectangular section and ultimate strength of axle center tension members of prestressed external steel composite structure, and gave the ultimate strength formula under the corresponding section form; the moment-the curvature, the load-the deformation relational curve of prestressed external steel composite structure were obtained by means of developing FORTRAN procedure of nonlinear analysis.The study indicated that prestressed external steel composite structure has a higher flexural bearing capacity and a better deformation performance. This paper established corresponding theoretical calculation system systematically which provided theoretical basis for the promotion and application of this structure and also has some theoretical and practical value.
