Amorphous and nanocrystalline soft magnetic materials are the new kind of magnetic materials those developed in recent years, which have been widely used in many areas for their good performance.One of the important way of application of these new materials is magnetic cores and the parameters of magnetic cores should be taken care when the factories product the core to know whether the product is good or bed. This system gave the improvement plan based on the existing cores inductance measuring instruments, which is really of great significance for improving the measurement accuracy, reducing costs and enhancing automation level of production.This paper take advantage of the V-I measurement theory to measure the inductance parameters of the core. C8051F060 were used as the system's microprocessor and AT90PWM3 output two pulses to control the controllable high power pulse voltage to drive the core inductance. The system's man-machine connection unit is consisted of the touchscreen, the multi-channel analog switches and the HG12864 liquid crystal display module.As the data sampling and processing unit, firstly, the voltage and current signal through the core inductance were inducted by the SCT254K and SPT204A, then the amplitude of the signal were changed by MCP6S21 to match the reference voltage of ADCO and ADC1 by certain enlargement factor. Then, the analog signal were converted to digital dada by ADCO and ADC1 of C8051F060 and the DMA function of this microprocessor was used to store the data. Finally, the daubechies wavelet algorithm was used to extract the useful information from the data gathered by sampling circuit and the parameters of the system was supposed to measured were calculated according to the related circuit theory. When the system was running, the parameters of the drive source such as frequency and power were set by touchscreen and the wavelet of the drive source and the voltage that inducted by the core inductance and the result of measurement were displayed by HG12864.At the end of this paper, the experiment was introduced and the shortcomings of this system were pointed out after analyzing the result of the experiment. The experiment made use of C8051F020 Signal Chip Microcomputer and PC40EI28-Z magnetic core of TDK Corporation to show whether the plan was reasonable. The result of the experiment suggested that the system could measure the parameters of cores inductance and the plan is reasonable. However, there was the error and the volatility of the experiment data was great. The accuracy and the noisy immunity of the system are needed to improve.
