Reliability is an ability of product for completing a set function in a set time and a set requirement. With the process and development of society, more and more attention is paid to the reliability of products.According to the current study, further analysis was made by this paper from static and dynamic theory on reliability calculation methods. The current mechanical reliability analysis methods were completely reviewed in considering the load and randomness of material characteristics, to get more reasonable classification on reliability analysis methods. Characteristics, limitations and application of all the analysis methods were pointed out. The advantages and disadvantages, applicable norm of all the reliability methods were compared. The program includes two parts:the reliability' design and calculation of static strength and fatigue strength. In the first part, stress-strength interference model and once second-order moment method are used into the calculation. In order to maintain the consistency of the result, in this paper, the JC method and advanced once second-order moment method are used to calculate the reliability of mechanical parts. In order to improve the precision of calculation, the present finite-element analysis software is used to analyze finite-element reliability and calculate the average values and variance of the strain. According to the relationship of the stress and strain, it calculates the fixed values of the tress, first-order wave and second-order wave, and then calculates the partial reliability. In the second part, stress-longevity model presented recently and the 3s-S-N method are used to predict partial lifetime and calculate the reliability. At last, this paper gives some corresponding calculation examples calculation respectively。The paper use OOP (Object Oriented Programming) technique combine the software Pro/E and ANSYS, via develop the system, which calculate the reliability of part by Visual Basic 6.0, named Probabilistic Reliability Design System, the system possesses advantages such as simple operation, better practicability and friendly interface.
