Intelligent Transportation System is a aimed at overcoming the roads, vehicles, people and environment contradictions between the four integrated technology solutions. It uses the latest electronic information technologies and communication technologies, making the technology solutions to be established and implementation. According to research and application of the system, it's would provided the safeguard of a safe, highly effective and environmental automobile society, so it's has an important application value.Based on the characteristics of the Intelligent Transportation System, a efficient and rapid real-time traffic information dynamic publishing system was put forward in this paper, which based on the ZigBee wireless communication technology. Combined with the use of Internet and ZigBee, the real-time traffic information will be released quickly to the traffic information service terminal. First, the real-time traffic information wil be released from Urban Traffic Management Center to the Traffic information service terminal through Internet. And then the automatic navigator,smart phone and PDA get the real-time traffic information from it by ZigBee technology, which finally finished the distribution of traffic information.First of all, this paper introduces the characteristics of ZigBee wireless technology and study the function and effect of ZigBee protocol stack's different layers, then discussion the details of how to establish a ZigBee wireless network. Combination of TI's low-power wireless transceiver chip CC2431, the method of how the real-time traffic information be published is designed.Followed, the overall designe of the Intelligent Transportation publishing System was proposed, and which should be to pay attention to. On this basis, an embedded development navigation board was designed on the chips of EP9302 and the main circuit of board is showed. The problem of how to designed the PCB board also be dissed.Then the paper introduced the operation of embedded Linux software and development environment. This paper also programed a key rivers for embedded Linux system as an example to show how to programmer Linux device driver on PC.At last, this paper describes the man-machine interface and how to compose the real-time traffic information and embedded GIS, and displays on the man-machine interface to meet the people's need of navigation.
