As a major part to Bearing marine structures, pile plays a vital role on the stability andsecurity of the upper structures of teh platform.With the advancement of science andtechnology, more and more large-diameter pile is widely used on the marine platform.At thesame time, for research on pile bearing,what the current API adopts is still based on smalldiameterpile p-y curve,which is made in 90's of last century.This method is based on smalldiameterpile,and it is inadequate for large-diameter pile.Therefore, it is necessary to study thebearing of large diameter piles and the related p-y curves.The main content of this paper is asfollows:Develop the OpenSees software secondly,analyse the effect on the p-y curves of the pyspring material parameters.Then,analyse the changing shear strength and horizontal bearingunder cyclic load using the secondary developed OpenSees.Pile bearing capacity is alsogradually increased as the soil shear strength around the pile is growing.Analyse horizontalbearing of the pile and the variation of corresponding p-y curves under three differentloading.Then, analyse the variation of p-y curves under different diameters and atdifferent depths in use of finite element software ABAQUS.Analyse the pile stress distributionand the change of p-y curves under different pile diameters,and the effect of elastic modulus ofsoil around the pile and the changeing undrained shear strength of pile on the pile p-ycurve.Finally ,analyse the change trend of the pile p-y curve under the way of the positive load+ reverse load + positive load.
