Along with the developing of mecha nica l equipments towards enla rgement,seria liza tion and complica tion, the security and relia bility of equipment req uirementenha nces unceasingly. If the unexpected accident happened, it will cause unpred ictablehuge econo mic losses. In order to ensure the safe and relia ble operation, we need toprovide equipment running sta tus informa tion to accomplish the fault early. Therefore,achieving the portable and accurate data acquisition and fault dia gnosis becomes aresea rch hotspot.Data acquisition is the premise for fault dia gnosis; fault feature extraction is the basis offault dia gnosis. Putting information collection in equipment operation as target, relying onfault dia gnosis mecha nism, the virtual instrument technology and signa l analysis technology,this thesis puts forward a data acquisition and dia gnosis system design scheme,completes thedesign and development of data acquisition and dia gnosis systems based on PDA.Independentcomponent analysis (ICA) algorithm is applied to fault characteristic signa l separation andextraction.The ma in work of this thesis is as followings:Frist:elaborated fault dia gnosis mecha nism of the key components—gear and bearing inmachinery equipment,analysised the vibration signa l fault characteristics of transmissiondevice,determined the fault monitoring parameters of key types of collection system,a nddesigned the genera l structure of data acquisition and dia gnosis system based on PDA.Second:in the fault signa l extracted, Emphasis is the independent component analysis (ICA)methods of optimization algorithm. Using independent component analysis (ICA) method toget more real characteriza tion signa ls from the blind source signa ls (the collected mixedsigna ls) which are extracted and separated. Third:combined with the virtual instrument technology and PDA technology,completedthe design and development of data acquisition and dia gnosis system based on PDA, whichindependent component analysis (ICA) algorithm is carried out in the PDA environment, alsoachieved the function of data acquisition, display, analysis and storage,etc.Finally, there is a testing analysis in gear fault dia gnosis experiment platform, bycollecting and analyzing the vibration signa l.Results show that the fault features of signa l aremore obvious after the separation of ICA .The data acquisition system based on PDA can getrid of the restrictions on the space, and it can be more convenient and accurate to complete thedata acquisition.
