| Building energy saving and safe evaluation for engineering structures have obtained the worldwide attention. It is much of importance for developping for a kind of new building structural material, which integrates green energy saving with intelligent perceptron adaptation. In this paper, laying out the optical fibers with the properties of optical transmission and self-sense in the concrete, such as plastic optical fiber and glass optical fiber, smart transparent concrete is developped with the properties of optical transmission and self-sense for stress. The experimental research includes transparent perfermance, stress birefringent and long-term durability. In the paper, the main research is following:Firstly, based on the mechnical properties and transmission characteristics, fabrication process and light transmission mechanism of smart transparent concrete are systematicly discussed. And the evaluation method for the transparency of smart transparent concrete is referred in this paper. The influence of volume fraction, layout techniques and numerical aperture of plastic optical fiber on the transparency of smart transparent concrete are analyzed.Secondly, based on the stress birefringent effect and obtained stress method of smart transparent concrete, the possibility and availability of the method is proved. The photoelastic effect between the damaged concrete and concrete is analyzed.Thirdly, the physical mechanical propertiyof smart transparent concrete enduring freeze-thaw test is investigated. And the loss of strength and weight of smart transparent concrete with repeated freeze-thaw is analyzed. The results indicate that,with the optical fiber increase, the strength of smart transparent concrete decrease, meanwhile, the influence of freeze-thaw on the the strength of smart transparent concrete is great.Finally, according to the rapid chloride penetrability test, the permeability of smart transparent concrete is investigated, analyzing the influence of interface between optical fiber and concrete and volume fractions of optical fiber on the permeability of smart transparent concrete. The plastic optical fiber can be coated by a thin layer of epoxy resin, without influence transparency of the smart transparent concrete, can improve the permeability of smart transparent concrete. |
