To benefit the grounding grid test and corrosion diagnosis, the approaches to automatically generate complete test schemes are investigated. In case of given excitation positions, a redundant complete test scheme is formed, based on which, the voltage measurement positions without necessity are eliminated to reduce the amount of test work. In case of unknown excitation positions, the current excitations are set between the nodes with larger degrees with priority. The desired scheme is formed in a similar way as the given excitation position cases.The universal software of automatically generating the test schemes both on the conditions of known and unknown excitation positions is programmed based on the platform of MATLAB.The software has nine modules, such as, data input and paramater configuration module, test scheme set establishment module, test scheme selection module, test scheme completeness identification module, test scheme supplement module, excitating position allocation module, feasible test scheme generate module, redundant test position elimination module and data output module. Two sub-processes for test scheme generation on the conditions of unkonwn and known excitation position are formed based on the combination of the above nine modules.As for the condition of grounding grid block corrosion diagnosis, based on the existing optimization method of block testing schemes, the universal software is programmed, based on which, the optimal test schmem with least work-load is automatically generated.Experiments were made on the test grounding grid with sixty branches of Shanxi Electric Power Research Institute and the thirty-eight grounding grid buried in Weinan 330kV substation are tested and diagnosed, respectively, the diagnose results of which show that the proposed approaches and algorithms are correct and feasible.
