This paper gave the research and experiment on indirect rotor position detection of the Switched Reluctance Motor, which intends to be conducive to the research of position sensorless for SRD.Firstly, a great deal of data was consulted, and the development and the application of the SRM were summed up. The structure, the characteristics, the merits as well as the defects of the switched reluctance Generator system were analyzed, and the future development as well as the hot issue concerning SRD system was put forward, and the significance of the design of the SRD system was clarified.Secondly, the structure and revolving of the SRM was analyzed in this paper, and basing on the existed indirect position detection of the SRD system, a scheme was put forward, which based on position sensorless inductor model. Through the analysis of the winding voltage equation, winding magnetic flux, inductance and electromotive force parameters such as analytical form, a method of non-position examination plan based on the inductance model was proposed, thus an observing rotor position method was determined. Through resolving the functional relations between some electrical parameters and the rotor position angle of SRM, the information of the rotor position was achieved. A simulation model based on Matlab Simulink was established, which based on the simulation model of the current chopper SRD speed control system of the inductor model of the indirect position detection of SRM, and the current study of the indirect rotor position detection techniques of SRM in the world was arranged and analyzed.Thirdly, a controller based on TMS320F2812 DSP was introduced in detail in this paper, and the designed SRM circuit entails the direct module,power converter,current detection module,voltage detection module,speed detection module and other assistant circuits. This paper also describes the design of the entire system software. Control system software worked in the CCS2.2 environment, used C language to compile the current chopper procedures and other relevant subprogram; it has realized the motor current chopper start and has laid the foundation for further research.
