Switching power supply with DC-DC converter as transfer key is applied to electronic product fields. To meet requirements of the input voltage of portable electronic products, Boost DC-DC converter is becoming the typical circuit topology, therefore research deeply on analysis and design of the Boost DC-DC converter has very important meaning.Taking Boost DC-DC converter as the research object firstly, in the paper, studying deeply its basic principle, structure, characteristics, analyzing electrical stress of the major elements in CCM (Continuous Conduction Mode), and obtaining the worse case point in the dynamic range of the input voltage & load resistor. An simulation is made with Maple software, the results validate the accuracy of the conclusion.Secondly, using state-space average method to linearize the main circuit to obtain transfer function of the converter from the control duty cycle to the output, analyzing Boost DC-DC converter system based on voltage-mode control, and deducing the open-loop transfer function in detail, meanwhile, the system characteristics based on small signal mode is studied deeply. Based on which, the stability of the converter system is analyzed in frequency domain, then using Bode method to analyze and design the PID compensation network to obtain the dual-zeros & dual-poles type III operational amplifier compensation network, the stability of the converter system have been improved.Finally, according to given parameters of the converter system, using Saber software to simulate the improved circuit, and the results of which show that the system has reached stability effects. In terms of design scheme, the experimental circuit is designed and accomplished, and then via test, the results show that all technical parameters of the Boost DC-DC converter meet actual requirements completely and the design proposed is feasible.
