Termite is a kind of insect with high destruction, and it spreads all over the world. Recently, Chemical control has been a successful method of preventing termite attack, but these chemicals create problems for our health and the environment. Physical control is too expensive and inefficient. Biological methods could be suitable alternatives in this regardEndophytic fungi have been identified in several studies as a promising source of secondary metabolite natural products with different biological activities. It provide a new way research antifungus, anti-cancer and anti-pests products. In this study, HUB-â… -004, HUB-â… -047, HUB-â… -034isolated from Juniperus virginiana and Chamaecyparis lawsoniana were used as function strains. HUB-â…¡-003and HUB-III-621from termite which can decompose lignin and cellulose and white-rot fungi (TV) and brown-rot fungi (GT) were indicators, the HDZK-BYB36was screened through bacteriostasis experiment and feeding termite experiment. We demonstrated that HDZK-BYB36belonged to Paenibacillus aliginolyticus through the analyses of morphological, physiological, and biochemical characteristics and16S rDNA sequences. The HDZK-BYB36fermentation broth were extracted by organic solvent. The result showed Nootkatone, Ï„-Muurolol, Torreyol and a-Cadinol was found by GC-MS. Recently, Nootkatone, Ï„-Muurolol, Torreyol and a-Cadinol have been extracted from Port-Orford-Cedar (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana) and were evaluated the antitermite activities. There are no reports about this study all over the world. This study found potential termiticidals from endophytes isolated from POC that have potential termiticidal activities. It established favorable laboratory basis for manufacturing safe termite prevention agentia, and our results support another way to produce alternative, environmentally-benign preservatives for controlling termites.
