| Purpose:This paper takes the Chinese traditional medicinal materials Radix Paeoniae as the research object, Quality evaluation of science of Radix Paeoniae by morphological, chemical quality and genetic diversity, screen out the dominant population, provide the source for good breeding fine varieties of Radix Paeoniae.Methods:Collect Zhejiang Panan, Anhui Bozhou, Sichuan Zhongjiang, Shandong Heze, 12 populations of Paeonia lactiflora germplasm resources.Characteristics and microscopic characteristics of Radix Paeoniae, Radix Paeoniae and morphology of bud stem, leaf, flower and fruit were observed in different populations, the total paeony herbs in the determination of the effective substances of different populations, the fingerprint of Radix Paeoniae HPLC, and studied the genetic relationship between populations by DNA molecular marker technology on the basis of comprehensive evaluation, Paeonia lactiflora germplasm.Results:1 Through the various categories of biological characteristics of Radix Paeoniae, the medicinal properties and the microscopic characteristics can be seen from the comparison of Radix Paeoniae overwintering buds, stem epidermal spots much, leaf type, the carpels characteristic, the root shape, root skin color, fracture is exposed to the air for chromotropic, root central catheter group and ray arrangements can be the distinction between Radix Paeoniae group.
