Due to the rapid development of social economy, population growth too fast, the ecological system has suffered severe damage, environmental problems have increasingly prominent and serious. Especially with the living area of the city residents, particularly serious ecological environment. Urban haze weather, the scarcity of water resources, the urban heat island effect, are affecting people’s normal life, people living in such an environment urgent hope to be able to find effective ways to alleviate or to improve the situation. Roof greening was born. Roof greening is in the limited urban space increase rate is the most effective way, is conducive to protect the ecological essence, regulating climate, air, the shield cover, to reduce the greenhouse, noise, and the urban heat island effect, huge environmental benefits. Roof greening as a small branch of the ecological environment system, it is the same with other ecological environment system has enormous. ecological value. But throughout the past and the present research status at home and abroad, most is to value method to acting the benefit of roof garden. This article is based on the basis of the willingness to pay method, to evaluate salween area the ecological value of roof garden.Based on the salween district of chengdu as the study area, through summarizing the domestic and foreign experts of roof greening and ecological value of the outstanding research results, the willingness to pay (WTP method (CVM) on the salween area to study the ecological value of roof garden. First of all, discussed the basic situation of roof greening, and sums up the ecological benefit of roof garden; Secondly combining theoretical basis, to define the ecological value of roof garden; Furthermore through data analysis and selection of the impact factor, build the model, calculating the ecological value and its influencing factors; Finally, the results put forward the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions. This paper studies the main conclusion is as follows:(1) The research progress of CVM method after decades of, although has certain limitation, but his own advantages and make the results of the study has important significance.(2) Based on the salween area roof greening, for example, using contingent valuation method to rough estimate of its ecological value, it is concluded that in 2014 the salween area roof agriculture ecological value is 19255316.36 yuan, has tremendous ecological value, at the same time, the willingness to pay will gradually increase along with the development of the social and economic progress.(3) Income, level of education, the degree of understanding of roof agriculture, whether living in several on the roof of the P value is significantly correlated, suggests that income high willingness to pay, willingness to pay (WTP) by the high degree of education also is higher, the roof greening understand ’willingness to pay higher and higher, the roof of the residents’ willingness to pay is not high willingness to pay (WTP) on the roof.The corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions:to speed up the development of urban economy; Intensify propaganda, reasonable planning perfect good business model.
