Viscous material has a strong adhesion, so it’s difficult to disperse in the process of drying and very easy to stick on the baking sheet, leading to the phenomena of paste and scarring. Traditional viscous material dryer is:evenly placed the viscous materials into many layers of drying plate, then put the drying plate on the shelf of dryer, at last, pushed the shelf into dryer’s oven to dry. So the automatic degree and drying efficiency of this dryer is very low, and it cannot effectively dry the viscous material. In order to better solve the problem of drying viscous material, this paper has designed a new kind of viscous material dryer.Firstly, designing a stable blanking device to solve the drying problem which is caused by the inherent characteristics of viscous material; then Z-lifting mechanism is designed to meet the need of continuous feeding of viscous material dryer; and designed a new type of belt mechanism to make the spread area of material of the viscous material dryer twice than the original dryer by using the same amount of conveyor belt, therefore, when drying the same volume of viscous material can reduce the number of the conveyor belt, thereby reduing the volume of the dryer; at last, designed a wind network system to make the temperature of viscous material dryer more uniform, thus improved the quality of drying viscous material.Secondly, using CFD to simulation, analysis and optimization the indoor wind’s speed of the viscous material dryer, to improve the strength and validity of hot air of drying room of viscous material dryer, thereby improved the drying quality of viscous material.Finally, designed the intelligent control system, divided the drying process of viscous material dryer into four stages:heating section, high temperature water lose section, low temperature drying section and cooling section. Through controlling drying temperature, moisture and drying time of viscous material dryer by PLC improved the flavor and taste of viscous material. By SMART LINE1000ie touch screen to provide an intuitive and fast user interface for the use of personnel, user can operate the interface to control the operation of the viscous material dryer.Viscous material dryer not only solved the problem of drying viscous material, but also improve the efficiency, drying quality and automation of the drying process, it provides a practical function for the further research and development of the dryer.
