Stripe rust, caused by Puccinia striiformis f.sp. tritici, is one of the most serious diseases of wheat in the worldwide, and planting resistant cultivars is the most effective and essential methods to control this disease. But one cultivar loss its resistant in several years because of cultivars single and resistance gene overcomed by pathogen. So the research of cultivars resistance received more and more closed attention. Researchers are trying to find means of overcoming cultivars "loss resistance" from inheritance mechanisms.It had postulated that wheat cultivars Lovrin10 and Lovrin13 have Yr9 that had been designated in Netherlands cultivars Clement; Suwon11 and Suwon92 have Yr4 that had been designated in English cultivars Hybrid46; Guinong22 has Yr10 that had been designated in American cultivars Moro. To confirm the existence of the genes and to determine genes related among these cultivars, and they were crossed with susceptible cultivars Huixianhong and set dialleds crosses among them. Seedling of parents and F2 and F3 progeny were tested for resistance to selected China races of Puccinia striiformis, virulent race (CY-29 or CY-31) and aviralent race CY29-mut3 which mutant from race CY-29.Clement has two genes resisting CY29-mut3, and the genes expression have no influence in reciprocal crosses. F2 population from Lovrin10 and Lovrin13 intercrosses did not segregate susceptibility to CY29-mut3, indicating that the two cultivars possibly at least has common or closed linkage loci resisting stripe rust. F2 population and F3 line from Lovrin10 and Lovrin13 with Clement intercrosses segregated susceptibility to CY29-mut3, indicating that the two cultivars hasn't common loci with Clement resisting stripe rust, and in their progeny present three genes segregated ratio, respectively.To CY29-mut3 and CY-29, Suwon92 has three genes (two of them present additive effect) when it is male parent, and it has one dominant gene and two recessive genes when it is female parent. Hybrid 46 has two genes resisting CY29-mut3 (they possibly are either recessive or present addition effect), it has three genes resisting CY-29. F2 population from Suwon11 and Suwon92 intercrosses did not segregate susceptibility to CY29-mut3, indicating that the two cultivars possibly at least has common or closed linkage loci resisting stripe rust. F3 lines from Suwon11 and Hybrid46 intercrosses segregated susceptibility to CY29-mut3, indicating that the two cultivars possibly has not common resisting stripe rust.To CY29-mut3, Moro has four resistance genes(one dominant,two middle resistance and one recessive genes) when it is male parent, and has one dominant and one middle resistance genes when it is female parent. To CY-29, Moro has one dominant and one recessive genes when it is male parent, and it possibly has two recessive gene or two addition effect genes when it is female parent. Guinong22 has three genes resisting CY29-mut3 and CY-31 whatever it is male or female parent. F2 population from Guinong22 and Moro intercrosses segregated susceptibility to CY29-mut3, indicating that the two cultivars possibly have not common gene resisting stripe rust.The high-temperature is an induced, active resistance. Through researching the resistant inheritance of some high-temperature resistance cultivars, indicated that this character had been control by several genes, and they express differently due to different stripe rust races in different temperature. Xiaoyan6 has two dominant genes resisting stripe rust, and they express steadily to different races in different temperature. To CY29-mut3, Shan229 has one dominant and one recessive genes in normal temperature and it has two dominant genes in high temperature, however, the two genes are recessive. Mianyang11 has two addition genes in normal temperature, but it has two epistatic genes in high temperature resisting CY29-mut3.
