| Alfalfa seed protein diversity is studied by SDSAGE.. means of successive extration and analysis of protein components and the automatic assay technology of free amino acid. The results show that as follows: (1 )The total gene diversity of chosen China local cultivars, 8 8.7% are from within the cultivars, 11.3% among cultivars. It means that there exists more gene diversity within alfalfa cultivars than among cultivars. (2)The gene divergene coefficient of China cultivars is 0.113 and the American is 0.275, so there exists higher heterogenety in chosen China alfalfa cultivars than chosen American cultivars. (3)The relationship of cultivars is relative to location of cult ivars. (4)The sequence of the four protein components content from high to low as follows: Globulin content is the highest all of them, the next is Glutelin content and Albumin content, Prolamine content is the lowest all of them. The total protein content and the four protein component are different among alfalfa cultivars. (5)The alfalfa seeds consist of 17 kinds of free amino acid, Glufamic acid content is the highest all of them, the next is Aspartic acid and lysine acid is the lowest all of them. The total content of amino acid and the 17 kinds of free amino acid there exist a wide range variation among cultivars. |
