Hair follicle derived from the epithelial-mesenchymal interactions, and eventually became a hair producing organ. Its morphogenesis, development and hair production were modulated by many in vivo andlor in vitro environmental factors. Dermal papilla was a mesenchymal structure, situated in the base of hair follicle, abundent in nerve and vesseles, and it was in the centre of hair follicle morphogenesis, of hair follilce cycle and hair growth induction and control. In the present study, we took new born KM mouse as an animal modle to investigate the exogenous cAMP compound on the body and hair follicle development, in addition ,we also cultured rat vibrissa dermal papilla cell as a cell modle to explore the possible mechanism of the effect of exogenous cAMP on the hair follicle development. Our results as followed: I .A certain dose of exogenous cAMP improved body weight of 2-month-old KM mice 6?3% than that of the control group (P
