| SATI showed high aphid resistance.Leave disks of Nicotiana tobacum var.NC89 were transformed with A.tumefaciens LBA4404 which harbor the plant expression vector pBI121(SATI). 23 plantlets with healthy roots were regenerated finally.By PCR analysis,Southern Blotting analysis ,3 plants were identified to be the transgenic tobacco ,containing the SATI gene that is inserted into tobacco genome.The result of Dot-AKP and SATI inhibitory activity and the aphid resistance test showed that the SATI gene can express correctly in tobacco and the transgenic tobaccos showed the obvious aphid resistance. |
