There is important influence of maize canopy on sprinkler water distributions under sprinkler condition. On the theoretics analysis basis, this paper make out much discussion among the sprinkler water distributions and maize canopy for this question for spring maize as an investigated object with the field experimentation. The author think that maize canopy is a pivotal factor for sprinkler water distributions above the earth?s surface. It gradually increases with the prolonged maize upgrowth period. The water under the maize canopy is made of the stem runoff water, undereaf water, leafeedle water and rowiddle water. They uniformly distribute on their observation location themselves. But, as a whole, they mighty noniformly distribute above the earth?s surface. In order to prove up the effect function of maize canopy on sprinkler water, this paper investigate the maize canopy. The result expresses that angle between stem and leaf and leaf azimuth angle both are characteristic value to describe maize canopy. They change with the different maize upgrowth period. For certain time, they are little variety. Angle between stem and leaf form zoster symmetry distribution about plant stem. And it express whirly uptrend along the hour hand . There, a function model with a multinomial and sinusoidal folded is used to describe the nerve curve. It?s better to describe the interspace modality of the nerve curve. On the datum analysis basis, this paper give a model of single LAJ calculated and research it?s distributions in the interspace. The value of the formula is close to the value of the test. The peak value of LAJ appear among the section near the stem. Approaching the rowiddle , the value of LAI present rapidly descendent phenomena. Between the leaf canopy radius (LCR) and the LAI distribution is consanguineous connection. The LCR is a basic parameter to the canopy. There, a model of the LCR is abstracted. The parameters in the model are different with the different upgrowth period. And , the LCR is a function on time and phyllotaxy. On the author?s analysis basis, this paper simply investigates the relation with the water value above the canopy and under the canopy and maize canopy. The author think that LCR is an important parameter to describe the influence of maize canopy on sprinkler water distributions. The author simulate the relation between the value of four parties water distributions near the earth?s surface and the water value above the maize canopy. And , the expression is given between them and LCR. The test result indicates there is a great deal of difference the waterdistributions between above the maize canopy and near the earth'ssurface. And the water distributions near the earth's surface areaccordant with the distribution of the LAI in the space.Based on the theoretics ana1ysis basis, the author give a formula ofcanopy interception to calculate interception value.
