The sweet potato fusarium wilt fungus is typical sickle tracheal disease ,it has become one of the major poisonous source on the sweet virus disease up to now. In recent years, domestic and international research work about sweet potato was focused on the spread, prevention, anti-disease filtration etc about the sweet potato disease, But the photosynthesis regulation and nitrogen metabolism regulation have not yet been seen after inculation with fusaium wilt fungus . In this article, I studied the influence that the fusarium wilt had an influence on the chlorophyll contents ,the photosynthesis velocity ,the stomatal threshold, the transpiration rate, cell CO2 degree with Hill reaction and brought about the relevant index changes of nitrogen metabolism in the leaves , The result showed that leaf chlorophyll content reduced, carotenoid content increased, photosynthetic rate declined, stomatal aperture dropped.intercelllular COi content increased in the leaves of diseased sweet potato after inoculation with fusarium wilt fungus. The growth of the sensitive cultivar was inhibited , the dry weight of above-ground dropped ;content of free amino acid of leaves increased and content of soluble protein decreased . these results could be used as physiological indexes to the germ plasm choice and resistance breeding in sweet potato .
