Studies On Characteristics Of Photoresponse Of Photo-thermo Sensitive Genic Male Sterile Rice In YanBian Region

The studies on japonica photo-thermo sensitive genic male sterile rice (PTGMR)D18S ,D22S,D23S and general line JiYujing were carried out. Critical photoperiod point and photoperiod sensitive stage of photo-thermo sensitive genic male sterile rice were discussed. The results were shown as follows:⑴ In YanBian region ,Sterile rate of D18S nearly accorded with 99.5%, standard of PTGMR made by national project "863". ⑵ Under natural distribution of temperature in YanBian region,the critical photoperiod point of three PTGMR was bigger than 15.0 hours.⑶ Photoperiod sensitive stage of D18S, D23S was from phase of one branch polarization to coming out of male and female pistil.⑷ The main sterile pollen type of PTGMR were model sterile pollen ,and sterile period was earlier than double cells of pollen .
