Genetic Modification Of Nucleopolyhedrovirus And Analysis Of Its Function

As a kind of bioinsecticide, nucleopolyhedrovirus has many prominent advantages, but the extremly narrow host range and slow fatalness limit the speed of its commercialization. Through genetic modification of nucleopolyhedrovirus and analysis of its function, we expect to solve the problem gradually.Crossing AcMNPV (Autographa caliphanic nuclear polyhedrosis virus) DNA segment that decide its host range with BmNPV (Bombyx mori nuclear polyhedrosis virus) DNA, we could expand the host range of AcMNPV to Bombyx mori, which offered a perfect host for bioinsecticide AcMNPV; to search the modifing possibility of polyhedrin gene, we employed AcMNPV polyhedrin gene to package heterogeneous BmNPV DNA; in addition, we furtherly modified the AcMNPV polyhedrin gene fusing with Buthus martensii Karsch scorpion gene, then inserted them into genome of AcMNPV and studied its function .
