The Experiment studies on questions of the adaptability and association of kernel oil content with the cultivation tecnology of high oil corn and so on, through exper-planted and observed of 10 high oil corn hybrids which we had introductioned from other provices in years of 2001 and 2002, so that we can carry out the work of high oil corn breeding and provide the theory of produce high oil corn in GuangXi.The following subject areas are consideved:1 .All the hybreds of high oil corn which we had introduced had good adaptability in GuangXi. They can be planted in part of south-GuangXi, and all had good agronomy characters and economy characters. Because of the high temperature climate and others factions of the south-GuangXi, The kernel oil content becamed lower after they had planted in GuangXi;2.The relation of the kernel oil content with the weight of 100-kernel was no-significant negation correlation in the same hybrids;3.The relations of the kernel oil content and the weight of 100-kernel with the cultiveation technology were as following:l).The amount of manure and the kernel oil content was no-significant negative correlation, the amount of manure and the weight of 100-kernel was positive correlation. The change of kernel oil content showed as "near parabola"under different plant density: in certain value of plant density, they were positive correlation, after exceed the value of plant density they were negative correlation; The weight of 100-kerneland the plant density was positive correlation;2).The kernel oil content and the weight of 100-kernel would be descended if the date of sowing was delayed, so it should be sowed in proper time when plant high oil corn;3).It would be helped to increase the kernel oil' content and the weight of 100-kernel if we fertilized more biological-manure to the high oil corn;But through the experment we considered that the increase of the kernel oil content and the weight of 100-kwenwl were not significant through the cultivation technology. So we should breed the varieties which have high oil content and good characters, that we can increase the kernel oil content of maize.4.The maize had the effect of heterosis xenian. It could increase the normal-corn' kernel oil content if it was pollinated with the pollen of high oil corn; and the high oil corn' kernel oil content would be descened if it was pollinated with the pollen of normal-corn.
