The particular discussion about how to conserve breeds in a concrete herd is a defect in the theories of breed conservation available. Problems are not solved about the breed scale of conserved herd, quantities of male and female and mating selection unavailable. The object of this study is to put forward a breeds conservation planning, and its usage is to guide the practice of conservation work.. Among the study of the breeds conservation planning, firstly, investigation to different successful conserved herds of an animal or poultry breed is carried out and correlated data are collected and put in order. Coefficiency of individuals are calculated by the way of Emik. Data about portion of male and female, reproduce rate, death rate and cost of conservation etc are put in order and registered. Then mathematical models on the basis of acquired data are as follows: polylinear lined model Y=X a is composed of elements of the coefficient of inbreeding, the proportion of male and female, the death rate, the reproduce rate and the quantities of the herds, with which population size formula is constructed to calculate the population size of conserved herd. The profit equation founded is based on the conservation expenses mi and m2, then through it obtain the best quantities of male and female; the effect of different select stud animal methods are compared; liner planning model of policy program for the selection of mating is formulated with the consideration of effect of conservation. Finally, particular program of breeds conservation is output. From this study, several conclusions are as follows: the population size of the conserved herds can be determined with the basis of the formula: ; the bestquantities of male and female is (random selectstud animal) or(same quantity select studanimal among families), when the cost of conservation is fixed, the best quantities of maleand female is and ( random select stud animal ) orselect stud animal among families) ,when the objection of conservation is fixed, the bestquantities of male and female is and (randomselect stud animal) or and (same quantity selectstud animal among families). Same quantity select stud animal among families is the best way of select stud animal about conservatory herds Linear planning model is constructed to make program of mating selection, among which object functionis Z = min , restricted conditions include: 1) =1 , 2). The problem conservation planning want to solve is how to conserver aconcrete herd.
