The solution culture and sand culture in controlled condition were conducted in order to investigate the influence of NH4+-N and NO3--N and their different supply ratios on plant growth, amino acid content as well as phosphorus uptake in oat .The obtained results showed that:â‘ When supplied with both N forms ,the oat growth was obviously better than when NH4+-N or NO3--N was the sole nitrogen source ,and 30:70 was the best NH4+/ NO3- ratio for plant growth ;â‘¡When served with constant (3mmol/L) nitrogen ,amino acid content in oat showed increasing trend and along with increase of NH4+-N in cultural medium ,and there was the highest summon amino acid content when NH4+/ NO3- was 70:30 ;â‘¢The increasing of nitrate ' s ratio in nutrient solution had benefit for the activity of nitrate reductase (NR) ,but increasing of NH4+-N in nutrient solution led to the decrease of K+ Ca2+ Mg2+content , the increasing of N ,P ,Fe & Zn contents ,and there wasn' t influence on Mn, Na contents . â‘£ Sand culture showed ,the nitrogen form effected the rhizosphere environment greatly .The pH value of cultural medium was decreased with increasing NH4+-N in nutrient solution ,resulted in the increase of phosphorus uptake .The results could be theoretical fundament for optimizing fertilization in oat production .
