The antimicrobial and insecticidal antibiotics 9512-2 was produced by Streptomyces hygroscopicus 9512-2 strain. The result of studies revealed that insecticidal and antimicrobial substance mainly lies in mycelium.The routine to isolate and purify the antibiotics from 9512-2's fermentation products was established on the basis of studies on biological activity, thin layer chromatography, high performance liquid chromatography and other purified method research.The mycelium cake was extracted by mixture solvent of butanol and ethyl acetate(l:l,v/v), then the extraction solvent was concentrated to get concentration material. And the concentration material was dissolved by petroleum ether. After centrifugation, the sedimentation was abandoned and solvent parts continued to be concentrated to get the concentration substance. Concentration substance was purifed through TLC and HPLC. At last three mono-components of 9512-2 were obtained.Functional group experiment revealed that component 1 and 2 had positive reaction to a-Naphthol and Alkali Tartaric Acid keton experiments, while had negative reation to other functional group experiments. Component 3 had negative reation to all of provided functional group experiments. It certificated that component 1 and 2 have sugar functional group.UV absorption analysis revealed that component 1's UVmax is 247nm, component 2's UVmax is the same as component 1. Component 3's UVmaxis 228nm.Preliminary MS analysis revealed that componet 1's molecular weight is 1254.8, component 2's molecular weight is 1218.8, component 3's molecular weight is 790.6.By the quantity analysis to agricultural antibiotics 9512-2 with the method of HPLC, results show that the interrelated coefficient, variability coefficient, rate of recovery to component 1 are 0.99982,0.0150 , 93.85-107.27%; the interrelated coefficient > variability coefficient, rate of recovery to component 2 are 0.99941 , 0.00356 > 95.42-101.20%; the interrelated coefficient, ariability coefficient, rate of recovery to component 3 are 0.99960, 0.00878, 99.34-104.60%.The insecticidal experiment rvealed that agricultural antibiotics 9512-2 has pretty insecticidal activity to Myzus persicae Sulzer, Lipaphis erysimi Kaltenbach, Plutella xylostella, Prodenia litura. Componnent 2 has insecticidal activity to Myzus persicaeSulzer , Lipaphis erysimi Kaltenbach, Prodenia litura while it's effect is no better than component 1. Component 3 has no insecticidal activity. The antimicrobial experiment revealed that component 1 and 2 have no antimicrobal activity while component 3 has activity to most of the provided phytopathogenic fungi. The result of insecticidal experiment revealed that the LC50 of component 1 to Myzus persicae Sulzer is 80.78μg/ml , 4.4 lμg/ml to Lipaphis erysimi Kaltenbach, 81.70μg/ml to Plutella xylostella ,115.3 1μg/ml to Prodenia litura. And the LC50 of component 2 to Myzus persicae Sulzer is 263.65μg/ml ,120.65μg/ml to Lipaphis erysimi Kaltenbach, 195.41μg/ml to Prodenia litura.
